The following was our paper brochure 40 years ago, from 1967. It was triple folded, used as a tariff sheet and mailed to customers who enquired about the Falcon Hotel.

This brochure was given to us by Mr & Mrs Simpson who were at Falcon for their Honeymoon in 1967 and who returned to us 40 years later in 2007 to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary!

A big thank you from all of us and Happy Anniversary!

The recorded tariff of 25 is actually 25 Shillings which is £1.25 in today's money! Also note the deposit required for bookings of £1, almost one night as we still do!

Interesting too is the motto "Personal Supervision and Catering", another principle we still carry with us after 40 years, although we think catering should be in a wider "caring"!

The two hotels Falcon and Dover Court were separate at the time. Dover Court Hotel is now disolved.
